The Distillerie de Labourdonnais is located on a beautiful estate surrounded by orchards and sugar cane fields in the north of Mauritius. This little jewel in the Indian Ocean has a rich tradition of rum production. Many industrial rums are produced in Mauritius, but three traditional artisan distilleries continue the French tradition and produce distinctive and refined rums from pure sugar cane juice.

Labourdonnais Rum Lady Blue Ex Bourbon Cask is an artisan rum that is aged for 6-12 months in Jim Beam bourbon casks.

The maceration of vanilla, spices and wood chips results in a spicy “agricole” rum with a honey, mint and woody popcorn finish.

Lady Blue evokes the seductive colours and aromas of Mauritius.
