The Distillerie de Labourdonnais is situated on a beautiful property surrounded by orchards and sugar cane fields in the north of Mauritius. This little pearl in the Indian Ocean has a rich tradition of rum production. Much industrial rum is produced in Mauritius, but three traditional artisan distilleries continue the French tradition of producing distinctive and refined rums from pure sugar cane juice.

Labourdonnais was founded in 2006 as a revival of the old ‘Rhumerie des Mascareignes’.
