Labourdonnais Spiced Gold Rum is a rum made from sugar cane juice with natural spice flavourings, which serve exclusively to soften the spirit.

Domaine de Labourdonnais was founded in Mauritius in 1774. For many years, only sugar was produced here. Since 2006, however, it has also been home to the Mascarene distillery, which produces rum of the highest standard from fresh sugar cane juice.

The aroma includes fruit, sweet spices and wood, with a predominance of citrus and the addition of orange peel. This rum offers a well-balanced flavour, where cinnamon and subtle woodiness complement the subtle sweetness. The finish is sweet with hints of prunes and a distinctive agricultural pepper.
